Lesson #33: Consonants Recap!
In this lesson we’ll simply recap over all the consonants in Hindi. This is just to serve as revision to help you remember what we’ve learnt. If you’re unsure about any of the letters or sounds then read back over the consonant section of this website.
Consonants in Hindi are organised into 8 sets by the sound that they make. The first 5 of these sets each have 2 non-aspirated, 2 aspirated and 1 nasalized letter. And for the last 3 we have;

I would advise learning these tables completely, it’s going to make your learning of Hindi so much easier! Practice writing each letter and saying it’s sound at the same time to really reinforce your memory.
In a week or two I’ll post another consonants recap lesson where we’ll recap over the rules of; nasalizations, conjuncts and dotted letters.
